Tour East Travel International Limited was formed at the dawn of the new millenium to fill up the needs of competent tour operators in Myanmar.

Our General Manager Mr Yaza had been the head of the department of history in Rangoon's No. 2 Regional College until 1988. He then resigned from the academic job and started a new career as a senior tour guide. Having worked more than 10 years in managing various tours for the major operators in Myanmar he finally decided to register his own tour company together with his long time business partner and friend. Using his decade-long experience in tour business and his sound knowledge of the history of Myanmar he also train the Myanmar tour guides.

All our staff are well educated , and we use only the guides who have passed our strict rules and qualifications. Our work is based on honesty, sincerity , safety and friendliness. Our service is not just a tour operating but also an educational. We operate package tours and travel to Yangon and surrounding, Bago, Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, Bagan ( Pagan ), Mt Popa, Mandalay and around, Monywa at Chindwin river, Taunggyi, Inle lake, Heho, Pindya, Kalaw, and many other interesting places in Myanmar.

Because of the lack of fast , cheap and efficient communication facilities inside Myanmar, we maintain a desk in Bangkok for keeping this web site up to date and to answer the enquiry's via email and to receive bookings. We can also arrange Myanmar visa in Bangkok or visa on arrival Yangon ( needs about 2 weeks time ), Bangkok-Yangon air tickets, etc.
